Millennium Jazz Music
MJM is an electronic music label focusing on modern jazz and interpretations of classic jazz through sampling.
This project is a collaborative mix tape between talented producers Dusty Ohms and Bare Beats. Each producer created original beats, sampling from jazz records from years gone by, and each had a cassette side to themselves.
Designing for a fusion of styles
My job was to create visuals that matched their unique take on producing beats. Each artist has a unique style, made evident upon listening to this excellent mix tape.
Graffiti and typography
I was chosen for this project because of my background with graffiti, particularly creating tags. I began my design career when I "quit" graffiti, fun fact.
